Susan died after June 18, 1870 and before December 17, 1877 in Cleburne County, Alabama, as she was not on the 1880 Federal Census and Samuel had remarried in December of 1877.

Since I am not sure when she died I carried her time line right up until Samuel remarried in December 1877.
